We invite interested patients to book a complimentary 15-minute call with Dr. Zook to allow both parties to determine if our practice is the right fit.
Personalized medical advice will NOT be provided during this call.
All appointments at Zook Medical require the patient to place a credit card on file (this keeps spam and fake bots away). However, rest assured that you will not be charged for a Discovery Call.

Pre-Visit Preparation
Before your appointment, Dr. Zook will review your intake forms, previous notes, and any test results you've had since your last visit. For new patients, she will also look over any recent (from the past 12 months) labs or test results you've provided to understand your health history better.
Please note that the initial visit is primarily for Dr. Zook to learn more about you and conduct a thorough intake and interview. While there may be some time to go over previous labs, the first visit is not intended for a detailed analysis of these results.
During Your Visit
Initial Visit:
Dr. Zook will explore your health concerns in detail to gain a comprehensive understanding of your case. She may also conduct a virtual physical exam if necessary. Together, you and Dr. Zook will create an initial plan, which may include further testing, medications, supplements, referrals, or other recommendations, ensuring you have a clear understanding of the next steps.
Follow-Up Visits:
Dr. Zook will review the progress you've made since your last visit and provide a thorough analysis of any new test results, explaining what they mean for your health. She will update your care plan based on this new information, which may include additional tests, medications, supplements, referrals, or other recommendations. This plan will be developed collaboratively with you during the visit, ensuring you understand the next steps.
Post-Visit Documentation
After your visit, Dr. Zook will take extra time to finalize your personalized care plan. This may include:
Writing out a detailed care plan.
Uploading handouts to your patient portal.
Ordering labs or specialized tests.
Prescribing medications electronically.
Sending supplement orders to Fullscript.
Referring you to specialists.
Completing any other necessary tasks for your case.
Between Visits
Test Review: As new reports and test results come in, Dr. Zook will review them and upload them to your portal for your access. If anything urgent arises, she will notify you. For non-urgent issues, she will make notes for discussion during your follow-up visit.
Research: When needed, Dr. Zook will spend time researching specific aspects of your case.
Continued Management: Dr. Zook will handle medication refills, adjustments to supplement protocols, and review of specialist consultations as needed.
Messaging: Dr. Zook is available for messaging through the Charm portal for simple, straightforward issues that do not require a full appointment. For more details on this feature, please refer to the FAQ on messaging.

Access to specialty testing not available through most medical offices (additional fees apply)

Save an additional 5% when you set up a recurring Autoship order for supplements you use long-term.
